Recycled Wood..
This is what we are making our Compost toilet out of recycled British wood, alot of it comes from British industry like the textiles mills, tanners, and the ship building dock yards... Yes its sad, but great to reuse... and the oak is incredible... with a bit of love and care...
Rosemoor RHS.
What a lovely garden, sorry l didn't take and photos but it was just too nice a day for that, they also have a great new teaching area designed by a great local Eco architect Gale & Snowdon. They also have on top of the formal gardens , a veg area, woodland walk and a nice area for lunch. Here is a picture of the new area.
Tarka Trail
Had a great walk along the Tarka Trail from the car park it was 2.5 miles to the lovely ECO cafe were we met Graham and Burt the Swedish bread maker. Who showed us there cafe, water butts, compost treatment and almost the reed bed system.. A great place for tea and cakes, plus they have evening events.. a true Oasis and a must visit..
